The entire panel of haematological, biochemical and microbiological panel tests which are processed by Anand Labs can be availed at Ayana Clinic. The reports can be accessed online at the Anand lab website on entering the person’s ID details or can be collected at the clinic after the turn-around time.

COMMON INVESTIGATIONS IN A REGULAR HEALTH CHECK-UP

A regular health check-up will comprise of the following investigations:

  • General Physical Examination (body weight, blood pressure, pulse rate, etc.)
  • Laboratory Investigations:
    • Complete Haemogram: It is a panel of tests to examine different components of blood and used as a 
    •              broad screening test for such disorders as anaemia, infection and many other diseases.
    • Lipid profile: Used to assess the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.
    • Liver Function Test: Used to assess the functioning of the liver or diagnose liver diseases.
    • Kidney Function Test: Used to evaluate how well the kidneys are functioning.
    • HBA1C: Used to measure average blood glucose and checking pre-diabetes / diabetes.
    • Vitamins Used to measure the Vitamin Levels (d3, B12) Critical in determining Bone & Nerve Health
    • C-Reactive Protein: It determines Inflammation in Organs
    • Ra Factor: To determine levels of Rheumatoid Factors in Blood
    • G6PD: To determine levels of Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase which helps Red Blood Cells

    • BMD: Bone Mineral Densitometry
    • Chest X-ray: Used to examine the chest and the organs and structures located in the chest.
    • ECG/ECHO/Treadmill Test: Used as a diagnostic tool to measure the rate and regularity of heartbeats 
    •               and for assessing cardiac stress.
    • Ultrasonography of the abdomen: Diagnostic imaging technique used for visualizing organs and 
    •               structures in the abdomen including the liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas and the kidneys.

          Urine Routine Examination: Used for general evaluation of health, metabolic or systemic diseases.
